children in the U.S. have a developmental or behavioral diagnosis. For families of color, the systems that are supposed to help were never built with them in mind. We are changing that. Inside the home, inside the workplace, and everywhere in between.

A System Designed for a Family That Doesn't Exist

The systems meant to support neurodivergent families were built with one kind of family in mind. The further your reality is from that assumed default, the wider the gap becomes.

01. The gap starts here

Every family with a neurodivergent child faces a system that demands more time, more money, and more advocacy than most households can sustain. The supports exist, but they were not designed to be accessible.

02. Now layer in ethnicity and cultural identity

Diagnoses come later. Providers are harder to find. Cultural stigma adds weight. The same families navigating systemic barriers in every other institution are now navigating them inside the disability system too.

03. Now layer in income

When the breadwinner has to step away from work to meet caregiving demands, the family loses the paycheck and the employer-sponsored insurance that funds the child's therapy. The safety net disappears.

04. Now see the full picture

Add language barriers. Add single-parent households. Add communities where the nearest specialist is hours away. Each layer compounds the last, and the families who need the most support are the ones the system was never built to hold.

Hi, I'm Amber.

I'm a mom, a neurodivergent caregiver, and the founder of Wynne Strategies for Neuro-Inclusion. I spent over 15 years leading HR and organizational culture strategy at places like Spark Therapeutics, Meta, QVC Group, and Vanguard. But the work that changed me the most happens at home, raising my three children, two of whom are neurodivergent.

I built Wynne Strategies for Neuro-Inclusion because I kept looking for a space that understood the whole picture: the caregiving, the systems, the identity, the exhaustion, and the joy. When I could not find it, I created it.
